He was a brother of J. B. (John Baker) Alderson and they were both sons of James FRANK Alderson and SARAH Catherine Alderson Alderson (yes, she was an Alderson who married an Alderson.
his father James Frank (memorial #120827330) who is documented by veteran records as being in the Alderson Cemetery (Now pretty much lost to time) and his second wife Helen Turpin (memorial #13439298) in the Santa Fe Cemetery, as is William James himself. I have not been able to find his mother’s grave or his first wife --Minerva Tennessee Pickard Alderson. It is probable that they are both in the now lost Alderson Cemetery. Wayne Austin had been in contact with me about the location and I had made contact with the property owners for permission, but he decided it would be too difficult to get photographs and though it is close to where I live, I have had 2 knee implants and major back surgery in the last 2 years and I am not physically able to go to the cemetery. Again, thanks for all your hard work, and I am not being critical. It is a great help to those like myself which cannot physically do.
