Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 8 tonight at the funeral home in Willmar.
Albert Gottwald was born Jan. 21, 1918, in Lake Henry to Joseph and Angela Gottwald. He married Rita Ludwig May 13, 1947, in Albany and farmed near Lake Henry 24 years before moving to Willmar where he was employed as a carpenter by Holmgren Brothers until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife; sons and daughters, Stephen and Mrs. Duane (Susan) Buermann, Paynesville; Stanley, New London; Sam, Willmar; Mrs. Paul (Stella) Nelson, Bemidji; Mrs. Danton (Sarah) Forrest, Duluth.
