Clara Garrison, daughter of King and Sarah Harrell Garrison, was born November 25, 1905, in Celt,Missouri, and departed this life on August 14, 2014, in Higginsville, Missouri.

She was married to Charles Albert Guthrie on August 27, 1930 and together they shared forty seven years before his passing in 1977.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Helen L. True;a son-in-law, Jack Buchholz; a stepson, a stepdaughter; ten brothers, Fred,Jonce, Simeon, Bill, John, Jesse, King Jr., Jim, Joe, Burt; and two sisters, Barbara Ripley Stark, and Sarah Harmon.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lebanon and had been attending Immanuel Lutheran Church in Higginsville.

Survivors include three daughters, Virginia (David) Knipmeyer of Corder, Missouri; Betty (Ray) Arth, of Marshall, Missouri; Peggy Buchholz, of Laguna Woods, California; a son-in-law, Roy True, of Corder, Missouri; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, twin great-great-grandsons due in September; several nieces, nephews,other relatives and many friends.
