Teresa Martin Boyd - age 62 passed away Wednesday August 14, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Martin; mother, Frederick Carter Martin Boshers; husband, Daniel Boyd; brothers, Buck Martin & James Carter Martin; step-father, Red Boshers; nephew, Jimmy Carter Martin; brother-in-law, Joe Allmon.
Survived by sons, Damien Boyd & John Daniel Boyd; daughter, Summer Boyd(Thomas) Vertrees; grandchildren, Daniel Vertrees, Wesley Vertrees, & Hazel Vertrees; brother, Butch(Twyla) Martin; sisters, Betty Lou(George) Lannom, Emmeline(Bud) Harmon, & Charlene Allmon; & numerous loving family members.
She was a member of Gladeville Baptist Church, previous owner of Close To Home Daycare, former employee of the Circuit Court Clerk, and a retired clerk with the Wilson County Health Department.
Visitation will be held on Saturday August 16th 4-8 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Visitation on Sunday August 17th 2:00 p.m. until funeral services at 3:00 p.m. in the Gladeville Baptist Church. Michael Eubanks will officiate the services. Active pallbearers, Damien Boyd, John Daniel Boyd, Frank Lannom, Don Allmon, Matthew Martin, Stephen Boyd, Chad Lannom, & Thomas Vertrees. Interment, Caraway Cemetery in Gladeville, Tn. Honorary pallbearers, Daniel & Wesley Vertrees, Andy Willis, and The 1969 Class of Mt. Juliet High. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Gladeville Baptist Church Bell Circle or The Samaritan Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607. "NOBODY FIGHTS ALONE".
