Suggested edit: Just noticed this one is linked to the wrong father. So, I sent you an edit. The Abraham b. 1839 was only 15 when William was born. The 1860 Census shows him in Greene Co. and still living with his parents and unmarried. This name is spelled both Neidigh and Neidy. Both names are pronounced the same.

Here are some sources on Family Search: 1860 Census - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9YBT-GBJ?cc=1473181&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AM4FK-1NR

It shows Abraham age 38, b. 1822 and wife (3rd) Adilla age 27; son Jacob W (William) age 6, 1854.

Six additional sources: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/sources/KLYZ-MVY.

The correct dates are 1822/1823 to 1862. He is buried in Tennessee in a Civil War cemetery.

Anyway, this family lived in Brown Co. The Abraham in Greene Co. is likely a distant cousin or something. Thanks
