Frank Shaw Presque Isle 95. Died 10-3-1988 at a local health care facility. He was born in Woodstock, NB., Canada 7-21-1893 the son of Hartford and Rhonda (Hale) Shaw. He served in the Canadian Army during WWI. He was a blacksmith for 25 years and a potato farmer for 35 years in the Presque Isle area. He was presented a agricultural award by the Maine Potato Bureau in 1980 for being instrumental in introducing the russet potato to Aroostook County. He is survived by his wife, Edith (Grass) Shaw of Presque Isle, 1 daughter and son in law, Jean and Jim Keary of South Yarmouth, Cape Cod, MA., a half brother, Wendell Bull of Woodstock, NB., Canada, 2 grandchildren, Daniel Keary of South Yarmouth, MA. and Jane Murphy of New Hampshire. Burial Fairmount cemetery.
