Born on April 23, 1936 in Windham, CT, a daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (Johnson) Thompson, she was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and she served in the U.S. Navy.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell W. Morrison, Jr.; a daughter, Kathy Jo Gruzinski; a brother, Donald Thompson, and a sister, Kathleen Beaudoin.
She is survived by three sons, Daniel Morrison, Center Twp.; Scott Morrison and his wife Jacki, Center Twp., and Michael Morrison and his wife Deidre, Aliquippa; a daughter, Suzanne Morrison, Crafton; a son-in-law, Thomas Gruzinski, Brook Park, OH; a daughter-in-law, Karen Morrison, Center Twp., and ten grandchildren, Zachary and Jacob Morrison, Laura and Michael Gruzinski, Shareena, Jackson, Emily, and James Morrison, and Aidan and Everett Morrison. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the DARROCH MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 2640 Mill St., Aliquippa, www.darrochfuneralhome.com, where a Blessing Service will be conducted on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
