Mrs. Mary Ann Nichols, age 74 of Milner passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Spalding Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Nichols was born on February 22, 1935 in Gwinnett County to the late Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe and Elizabeth Peppers. She formerly worked as a Seamstress.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, James Donald Nichols, Sr.; children and their spouses, James Donald Nichols, Jr., Sharon and Tommy Smith, Michael and Joni Nichols; grandchildren, Kim Morris, T. J. Morgan, Misty Jensen, James Nichols, III, Michael Nichols, Jr.; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Sammy Peppers, Leonard Peppers; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Nichols will be conducted on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Dr. Keith Wesley will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
