SHREWSBURY Terry L. Dickson, 65, formerly of Green Bay, Wis., died Monday, August 11, 2014, at Dallastown Nursing Center. She was the wife of Robert K. "Bob" Dickson, to whom she was married 44 years. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2014, at J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc., 24 N. Second St., New Freedom, with the Rev. Bruce K. Merritt, from Fells United Methodist Church in Belle Vernon, Fayette County, officiating. A viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service on Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Joseph Giesey Memorial Cemetery, Shrewsbury. Born June 28, 1949, in Sapulpa, Okla., Terry was the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Margaret J. (Smith) Cunningham. Terry was self employed as a private piano teacher in Shrewsbury and when she lived in Green Bay, Wis., for a combined 26 years. She was a former pianist and organist for York Christian Church for four years and was a former organist and Sunday school teacher for First Christian Church in Green Bay, Wis. Terry was a strong supporter of Boy Scout Troop 90 Shrewsbury, was an avid reader, enjoyed scrapbooking, crocheting, and cross stich, and loved crafts. She and her husband were members of the National Marriage Encounter, holding numerous leadership positions in Green Bay, Wis., and held the title of Executive Couple for one year in Pennsylvania. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Cynthia L. Merritt and her husband, Andrew of Mechanicsville, a., Galena S. Seiler and her husband, Jason of Clifton, Va., and Gregory K. Dickson of Shrewsbury. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Emily, Gabriella, Matthew, and Kendra; a brother, Christopher B. Cunningham and his wife, Leslie of Tulsa, Okla.; and three nephews.
