Yancy-Bailey; mother of Scholastica A. Bailey; sister of Mai Ellen Bailey-Harris, (Nostelda), Joseph "Joe" W. Bailey II (Vera), Delores Bailey-Howard, Magdalene "Sugar" Bailey-Coleman (Albert), Ellen Ann "Tina" Bailey, Benjamin L.H. "Ben" Bailey (Mahyedeh), Bennetta Barclay-Bailey and Julius "Saah" Bailey; niece of Emma Shelton-Harmon and Edna Tolbert-Bailey; aunt to a host of nieces and nephews; cousin to many; and a friend to all. Her "homegoing" occurred on Sunday, January 25, 2009 in Baltimore Maryland.
Wake-keeping services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2009 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church on 6950 Dogwood Road, Windsor Mill, MD 21244. All sentiments and/or statements of remembrance will be done only at this time.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 10:00am at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church. We recommend that all be seated by 9:30am so that the funeral mass can begin on time. Additional information will be available within the week.
