Mrs. Betty Ann Greene, age 75, widow of Jim of Brodhead, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Rockcastle Health and Rehabilitation.
Betty entered into this life on May 12th, 1937 in Brodhead, Kentucky, the daughter of Walter and Myrtle Bussell Dees, both of whom preceded her in death. She spent her days as an avid reader, playing cards with her card club, watching movies, and fishing. She was a member of the VFW, and was of the Baptist Faith.
Betty will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Christy Osborne of Cincinnati, Ohio ; her son: Lee Osborne of Fort Meyers, Florida; one brother: Gary Dees (Beverly) of Hamilton, Ohio; three special cousins; Margie Wilcop (Johnny) of Brodhead, Kentucky and Libby Reynolds (Benny) of Litchfield, Kentucky, and Jim Southard (Janice) of Stanford Kentucky; and a host of friends and neighbors.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Jim Greene; her parents: Walter Dees and Myrtle Dees; and one brother: Bobby Dees.
Memorial services for Mrs. Betty Greene will be conducted on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals with Bro. Raymond Flynn officiating. Interment will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
