Hilda L. Marsh, 84, of Burgess Square Nursing Home, Westmont, IL, formerly of Pen Argyl, died Friday, April 2, 2010, at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove, IL. Born: in Bushkill Twp., PA, May 13, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Clyde James and Mamie King Mabus. Personal: Hilda was the wife of the late Russell G. Marsh, who died June 6, 1993. She retired in 1993 as an aid for the Slate Belt Visiting Nurses, prior to that she was employed as a trimmer for various blouse mills in the Slate Belt Area. Memberships: She was formerly a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bangor and a member of UNITE. Survivors: She is survived by two daughters, Patricia A. Page of Downers Grove, IL, and Marie J. Dapkiewicz Hamm of East Bangor; two sons, Robert Marsh of Westmont, IL, and Russell Marsh of Glen Elyn, IL; four grandchildren, Shannon Keet of Mt. Bethel, Holly Hamm of Gilboa, NY, Ronald Hamm of Accord, NY, and Amy J. Page of Downers Grove, IL; three great-grandchildren, Catlynne Keet of Mt. Bethel, and Christopher and Conner Hamm of Accord, NY; a sister, Betty Pittenger of Easton; a brother, Paul Mabus of Easton; and a sister in law, Edith Fehr of Broadheadsville. In addition to her husband Russell, a son Michael Dapkiewicz, and siblings, Walter, James, Donald, Mazie, and Grace Mabus, and step-siblings, Earl, Victor, and Herbert Boyer, Catherine Peters Walters, Arlene Smith and Pearl Jones Force all died earlier.
