A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Jack and Annie Lou Hawkins Belcher, he was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, a retired employee of Performance Pipe and a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Michelle Boyter Belcher of the home; a daughter, Mickie Belcher of the home; and a sister, Susan B. Caldwell of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Jane Jenkins. Burial will follow in Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held 10:45-11:45 a.m. Saturday at the church.
The family is at the home of Frances Boyter, 204 Inman Highway, Lyman, SC 29365.
