Susie Bell Hall Roberts, age 81, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, entered into rest on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Rev. George Roberts on Christmas day in 2007.
Rev. & Mrs. Roberts served the Bethesda Baptist Church for many years. She is survived by her sister of Loganville, GA; two sisters-in-law, of Lawrenceville, GA (Gloster community) and Lawrenceville, GA; her devoted niece, Loretta & Mike of Loganville, GA; other loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Roberts was born in Gwinnett County, Georgia on December 23, 1932 to Evie Archer Hall and Early Hall. She did beautiful cross-stitching & macramé work, and enjoyed camping with her family. She was a devoted wife and family member. It was very important to Sue to be able to stay in her home after her husband’s death. Devotion by her loving family enabled her to have this special gift during final days on this earth.
The Service Honoring the Life of Susie Bell Hall Roberts will be held Thursday, August 14, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
