Katherine Elnora Hensley, 89, died February 21, 2006, in an Austin nursing home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, at BrookView Funeral Home in Waco, with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will follow in Waco Memorial Park.
Katherine was born in Paris, Tennessee, to the late Charlie A. and Nettie Rowena (Weaks) Hopkins. She was a resident of Waco, Texas, for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buell; and a daughter, Karen.
Survivors include her sons: B.H. Hensley, of Placerville, Calif., Doug Hensley, of Lewisville, and John Hensley, of Grand Junction, Colo.; daughter, Judy Garibay, of Austin; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
