Mrs. Lovett is survived by her five children and their spouses: Mary Polhill Fort of Omaha, NE, Dr. J.B. Polhill, IV and his wife Betsy of Dublin, GA, John L. Polhill and his wife Harriet of Athens, GA, Joseph H. Polhill and his wife Mellie of Atlanta, GA, D. Phillips Polhill and his wife Susan of Louisville, GA, grandchildren and their spouses: J.B. Polhill, V and his wife Kim, David N. Polhill and his wife Ginny, John L. Polhill, Jr. and his wife Susanne, Stephen C. Polhill and his wife Melanie, Nicole White and her husband Cameron, Kathryn "Katy" L. Jensen and her husband Nick, Markus E. Fort, Hank J. Dollar and Betsy L. Dollar, 13 great grandchildren, stepchildren: Rebecca Quick, John M. Lovett, Jr., James S. Lovett and their families. Additionally, she is survived by one sister, Veigh Lindsay Crook, or Orangeburg, SC and two sisters-in-law, Rosa Polhill Green and Lois Polhill Sheppard.
Following a private burial in the Louisville City Cemetery, a service of worship will be held at Louisville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 16, 2014. Rev. Bill Cain will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Louisville ARP Church, 824 Walnut Street, Louisville, GA 30434.
