HADLEY, Michael Homegoing celebration for Mr. Michael G. Hadley of Tampa, who passed away Aug. 8, 2014 will be held Saturday, August 16, at 1 pm, 34th Street Church of God, 3000 N 34th Street, Tampa, Rev. Dr. Thomas Scott, pastor as eulogist with Apostle David Boyd, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Michael G. Hadley, a well noted citizen of Hillsborough County, was born January 3, 1953 in Miami to the union of the late Emory Hadley Sr. and Lucille Hadley. He was one of seven children. He was 61 years old. In September 1982, Michael met the love of his life, Sonya Berrien. They were joined in holy matrimony Feb. 26, 1983. Michael was preceded in death by his brother Emory Hadley Jr. and his sister, Frances Hadley Wallace. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 31 years, Sonya A. Hadley; children, Aisha Hadley, Dwayne Hadley, Dondre Hadley, Michael Hadley II (Miami), and Damien Hadley (Georgia); 4 brothers, Patrick Hadley (Cynthia), Keith Hadley (Char-maine), Bertram Hadley, and Neil Hadley; father-in-law, Rev. Ezell Berrien; 3 sisters-in-law; 7 brothers-in-law; 5 godchildren; 19 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 48 nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at 34th Street Church of God Friday, Aug 15 from 5-8 pm. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
