Norman was born in Providence, Rhode Island. He is the son of the late Isreal Roy and Annie (Ayotte) Roy.
A WWII Air Force veteran, Norman served in WWII and Korea. He has been a resident of Warwick, RI since 1966. Norman was employed by Bulova Watch Co. as a machinist. He retired in 1984.
Norman enjoyed surf fishing, and was a lifetime member of the Mass. Beach Buggy Assoc. He loved photography and had a collection of over 100 antique and vintage cameras. Norman had a passion for music and was a harmonica player with the Coventry Senior Harmonica Band for 20 years.
Norman was a kind, compassionate and loving man who had an unmatched zest for life. Along with his immediate family, he also leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends. He will be sincerely missed by all who knew him.
