Laura Spencer, age 25, of Piney Flats, TN passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014. She was born in Beckley, WV a daughter of Joseph and Sherri Adams Spencer. She was preceded in death by her parental grandparents, Willard and Mildred Spencer and her maternal grandfather, John T. Adams.

In addition to her parents she is survived by a son, Evan Kerlin of the home; long time companion, Travis Kerlin of Piney Flats; grandmother, Jeanette Meador of Piney Flats; sister, Heather Spencer of Piney Flats; special friends, Lisa & Bill Honeycutt of Johnson City; and a special cousin, Sydney Waldo. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday, August 14, 2014 in the Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Bluff City.

The celebration of life service will be conducted at 10:00 am Friday, August 15, 2014 at Tetrick Funeral Home, Bluff City with Rev. Frank Waldo officiating.

The graveside service will follow in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Brian Waldo, John Adams, Ricky Keys, Doyle Morelock, Bill Honeycutt and Robert Gonzalez.
