Leona Isabell Ramsey Keller Benfield Dunham, 76, Springfield, went home to be with the Lord at 11:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 1994, in Cox Medical Center South. She was born May 22, 1918, in Elwood, MO. She was the third child of Ivan and Julia Harris Ramsey. She is survived by a brother and his wife, Ralph and Helen Ramsey; two sisters, Clestelle Cunningham, and Virginia and husband Charles Stowe. Raymond, a brother, preceded her in death in 1964. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Noel Keller, who died in 1958. She then married Earl Benfield in 1961; after 13 years of marriage, he died Jan. 24, 1975. Her mother passed away two days later. She married Austin Dunham, April 8, 1977. He passed away March 24, 1988, after 10 years of marriage. Leona attended school in Elwood and Bois D’Arc. She had worked for many years at Tastee Bakery. She lived in Springfield until 1972, when she and her husband, Earl, moved to Nixa. She was past president of Nixa Garden Club and member of Calvary Bible Church, Nixa.
Burial in Clear Creek Cemetery, west of Springfield.
