Wanda L. Bonney, 83, of Pen Argyl, died Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Easton Hospital. Born: In Pen Argyl, December 29, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Russell E. and Bertha Cory Lobb. Personal: She was the wife of the late John D. "Rooster" Bonney who died August 9, 1989. Prior to retiring, Wanda was employed as a telephone operator at the Pen Argyl exchange. Wanda enjoyed playing Bingo and the Pennsylvania Lottery and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles Fan. Her greatest love was her family. Memberships: She was a member of the Bangor VFW and attended Pen Argyl High School. Survivors: She is survived by three daughters, Sherry L. Elliott wife of the late David E. of Bethlehem, Candice L. Bonney of Nazareth, and Elizabeth B. Wilson and her husband, James F. of Bushkill, PA; two sons, John B. "Jack" Bonney of Pen Argyl, and William D. Bonney of Easton; a granddaughter, Marci Elliott of Bethlehem; a niece, Pattyann McCormick of Bangor; five step-grandsons, James, Jeffrey, Joseph, Jonathan and Jason Wilson; five grand Yorkies and one grand Cat. In addition to her husband, a sister, Bernice Free died earlier.
