Shreveport< LA- Memorial services will be conducted at Centuries Funeral Home Chapel for Clyde T. Williams, age 84, of Shreveport, LA. on Saturday, October 6, 2001 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Rob Floyd. Mr. Williams entered into rest on Tuesday, October 2, 2001 after a brief illness.
Mr. Williams was a native of Social Circle, GA and lived in Shreveport for 40 years. He retired from the USAF with 22 years of service. He served in the Army Air Corps during W.W. II. He was a very devoted husband and loving father.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Marie Williams; one daughter, Cindy Creel and husband Kenneth of Shreveport, LA: two sons Rodney R Williams of Dallas TX and Michael N. Williams of Shreveport, LA; three sisters, Frances W. Huneycutt and Mary W. Epps of Social Circle, Ga Ina Van Epps of Conley, GA; two brothers, Harold H Williams of Decatur, GA and Roy M Williams of Snellville, GA, also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
