Mrs. Sherman Goes To Rest
"Mrs. Elnora E. Sherman, widow of the late George A. Sherman, prominent resident and druggist of Martinez of years gone by, passed away Sunday at her home in Alameda. She was an aunt of Mrs. R. L. Ulsh of Martinez and mother of Mrs. Irving K. Bailey, Grosvenor A., and Emily E. Sherman. Deceased was a native of Berkshire, Ohio, and for many years past, since leaving Martinez, has made her home in the Encinal City.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock from the Christ Episcopal Church, Santa Clara Avenue and Grand Street, Alameda. The remains were thereupon be brought to Martinez for interment in the Alhambra Cemetery about 3:15 o'clock."
