Mildred Gregory, 79, homemaker, died August 7, 2003 at Methodist Healthcare-University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Services were at New Albany Church of Christ, where she was a member, with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery in Tremont, Miss.

Mrs. Gregory, the widow of Sherwood "Smokey" Gregory, leaves a daughter, Mary Lynn Murphy of Walls, and two sisters, Marie Webb and Vula Rae Johnson, both of Fulton.

NEW ALBANY - Mary Mildred Gregory, 79, died Thursday, Aug. 07, 2003, at the
Methodist Hospital-Central in Memphis, Tenn. She was born April 10, 1924, in Fulton
to the late Andrew and Sula Wilson Hughes. She was a homemaker and a member of the
New Albany Church of Christ.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the New Albany Church of Christ with Bro.
Garvis Seemore and Bro. Tom German officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Grove
Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lynn Murphy and her husband, John, of WallsTN;
two sisters, Marie Webb and Vula Rae Johnson, both of Fulton.
