ALICE JEAN FUEMMELER, 84, of Salisbury, MO, died Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO. Jean was born July 25, 1930 in Glasgow, Missouri the daughter of Joe T. and Alice (Stockman) Bange. She married Robert "Bob" Joseph Fuemmeler on February 3, 1951 in Glasgow and he preceded her in death on June 13, 2003.

Jean was a graduate of Glasgow High School, class of 1948. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing and quilting. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salisbury, the Alter Sodality, and the St. Joseph Quilting group.

Jean is survived by her sons Roger (Jane) Fuemmeler of Salisbury, MO, Wes (Beverly) Fuemmeler of Salisbury, MO, Mitch (Dawn) Fuemmeler of Farmington, MO, daughter Debbie (Bill) Carroll of Moberly, MO, a brother Joe (Rosalyn) Bange of Salisbury, fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband, parents, sisters Evelyn Hackett, Stella Mae Smith, Mary Margaret Kruessel, Bobbie Fuemmeler, daughter Darla Holt in 1995, and a grandson.

Visitation is 4-7:00 p.m., with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2014 at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, MO. Mass of Christian Burial is Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Alter Sodality.
