CLINTWOOD Kevin Lynn Hillman, age 41, of Rose Ridge section, passed away at his home Monday, Feb. 20, 2006. He was born April 25, 1964, to Seibert and Patty Hillman. He was a 1982 graduate of Ervinton High School and attended Southwest Virginia Community College. He was a 16-year employee of Bristol Compressors and was self-employed at the time of his death. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Hill Ridge Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Ross Hillman; paternal grandparents, Oval and Fern Hillman; and maternal grandfather, Clyde V. Sawyers. Survivors include his parents, Seibert and Patty Hillman of Route 1, Clintwood; brother, Wesley Hillman of Bluff City, and his twin brother, Kenneth Lee Hillman of Bristol Virginia; maternal grandmother, Patsy Sawyers; special uncle, Lloyd Hillman; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2006, at Mullins Funeral Home in Clintwood, with Pastor Keith Dotson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow on Thursday, Feb. 23, at Temple Hill Memorial Park Cemetery's mausoleum, Chapel of Love. The funeral procession will leave Mullins Funeral Home on Thursday at 11 a.m. for those wishing to follow. Cousins will serve as pallbearers and members of Hill Ridge Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to one's favorite charity in Kevin's name. Mullins Funeral Home is serving the Hillman family.
