Joshua Daniels Ensor, 93, of Westminster, died August 11, 2014 at Carroll Lutheran Village Health Care Center. Born October 24, 1920 in Sparks, son of the late John and Sarah Ensor. He was the beloved husband of Jeanne "Pat" Ensor. Having received his bachelor degree from Western Maryland College, he served 4 years in the Naval Air Corps during WWII and had 2000 hours in a PBY seaplane in the South Pacific. He retired as a special agent from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Russian Espionage. Surviving in addition to his wife are children and spouses Carole and Ron Asbury of Lisbon, John and Jackie Ensor of Mt. Airy, Douglas Ensor and Jane Whitaker of Woodbine, and Pastor Donald and Carolyn Ensor of Spokane, Washington; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Captain Nelson H. Ensor, USAF. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at PRITTS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am, at the funeral home, with Chaplain Jimmie Schwartz of Carroll Lutheran Village officiating assisted by Josh's son, Pastor Donald Ensor. Interment will private in Sparks, MD. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Josh's memory to the Carroll Lutheran Village, 300 Saint Luke Circle, Westminster, MD 21158 and/or McDaniel College, formerly Western Maryland College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, MD 21157 Carrol County Times August 12, 2014
