He was born Jan. 11, 1770, and was the father of eleven children: Ephraim, Ellen, Elizabeth, Thomas, Diadema, Hannah, William, Johnston, Mahala, Sarah, and Nancy. His wife, whose maiden name was Lucretia Johnston, died in 1855, and her husband in 186__." (page 548)
Buried in the private SMITH Cemetery on the Stahl Farm (owners in 1957). (.8 mile north of Greenberry Church on State Route 133, 200 feet east of Highway, in Jackson Township, Clermont County, Ohio)
