Mrs. Richard A. (Bernice E.) Lade, age 62, of 1508 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday morning, October 24, 1993, at her residence. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm and Rev. Bruce Bitter will officiate. Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, in the Town of Kossuth. She was born July 18, 1931, in the town of Newton, Manitowoc County. She was the daughter of the late Erwin and Clara Jaeger Zastrow. She attended First German Lutheran School and a 1949 graduate of Lincoln High School. She was a secretary of Lade Fish and Seafood Company. Bernice enjoyed sewing and bowling. She was married to Richard A. Lade November 15, 1952, at First German Evangelical Church. Bernice and her husband Richard enjoyed 41 years of marriage together. She was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband, Richard; two sons, Michael E. Lade, and Jack E. Lade, both of Manitowoc; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Edith and Walter Peters, Plymouth, Gertrude and Alfred Heinz, Manitowoc, Arlene and Tom Williamson, Manitowoc, Irma Reseburg, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Friends may call at the Reinbold and Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday at church from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Memorials would be appreciated for the Manitowoc County nit of the American Cancer Society.
