Chris Padilla, age 73, passed away quietly surrounded by his family on August 11, 2014.
Chris was predeceased by his son, Eddie Padilla, daughter, Patricia Renee Padilla and grandson, Joseph Mora.
Chris is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joyce Padilla, children, Eric Padilla, Chris Padilla and his wife, Trish, Steve Padilla and his wife, Kris, Dennis, and their mother, Rosie Padilla, Anna Candelaria and her husband, Edward, Anthony Vallejos and his wife, Tina, brothers, Cruz Padilla Jr. and his wife, Theresa and Richard Padilla, sisters, Helen Martínez, Gloria Romero, Bertha Padilla and her husband, Gene and Patsy Riley and her husband, John, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Chris was an outdoorsman who was also known as a loving family man.
Chris’s Life Celebration will begin with a Viewing on Friday, August 15, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Reflection of Life Chapel, Washington and Cutler NE. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 9:00 a.m., also at Holy Rosary Catholic Church followed by Burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Padilla, Dennis Padilla, Anthony Vallejos, Eric Padilla, Joe Gonzáles and Cruz Padilla. Honorary pallbearer will be Chris Padilla.
