Mrs. Floyd W. Easterwood Jr., 77, nee Lujean Lorance, of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 6, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Schaetter Funeral Home with the Rev. John Hierholzer officiating. Interment followed in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Easterwood was born Nov. 17, 1926, in Vernon, the daughter of Tom Lorance and Eddie Lou Lorance Lorance. She married Floyd William Easterwood Jr. on May 23, 1944, at Aloe Air Force Base in Victoria. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Hill Country Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. During World War II, she worked for the U.S. Postal Service.
Mrs. Easterwood is survived by one son, Floyd William Easterwood III and his wife, Amy, of Fredericksburg, and three grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Easterwood was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Lorance.
