Mrs. Elizabeth Williams, age 76 years, died on Tuesday, October 18, at the St. Joseph hospital at Ft. Wayne after suffering a stroke of paralysis.
Mrs. Williams was formerly a resident of Winamac, having moved to Auburn about six years ago.
The deceased leaves to mourn her death, four daughters, Mrs. Katherine Prior of Logansport, Mrs. Hattie Lowry of Winamac, Mrs. Belle Burroughs and Miss Maude Williams of Fort Wayne and five sons, Bruce of Kentland, D.M. Williams of Delong, W.T. Adams of Thorntown and Geo. and Joe Adams of Marion.
The funeral service was held at Auburn, Wednesday and the body was brought here Thursday for burial in Winamac cemetery.

Elizabeth Witham married Peter W. Adams on August 27, 1862.
She married David W. Williams on September 2, 1878.
They were divorced in 1898. The children listed in the divorce papers were: David W. Williams, age 19 years; Bruce Williams, age 16 years; Melissa Bell Williams, age 14 years and Maudie May Williams, age 11 years.
