Author. She was born in Köln (Germany). She was forced to exile, when Hitler raised to power. She moved to Italy, England, United States, and finally, República Dominicana, where lived during 13 years. Among her works "Nur Eine Rose Als Stütze," "Rückkehr der Schiffe," "Hier," "Das Zweite Paradies," "Roman in Segmenten," "Ich Will Dich" and "Rufe Nicht." In 2005, she was awarded with the Orden al Mérito de Duarte for the government of the República Dominicana. She died in Heidelberg, Germany from complications after a fall.
