and Elsie Steele. She was raised by her
Aunt Helen and Uncle Tom Cole and
attended nursing school out east and
worked as an R.N.
On Jan. 27, 1951 she was married to
Robert' Naverman at Rochester, Minn.
They lived in that area and farmed for a
number of years before moving to the
Alta-Newell area. She was employed at
Buena Vista County Hospital and Loring
Hospital in Sac City, retiring in 1998. She
was a member of Newell United
Methodist Church; Rebekahs, Past Noble
Grand, Eastern Star and UMW. Her hobbies
included camping with the Stormy
Water Rollers Good Sam Camping
Group.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; husband Robert Naverman; and
uncle Thomas Cole.
