Annie P Woods Armstrong, 82, of Benton Harbor, MI passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014 at Silverbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Niles. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2014 at Highland Avenue Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2075 Highland, Benton Harbor, MI 49022. Burial will follow at Crystal Springs Cemetery. Viewing will be two hours prior to the service from 9-11 a.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. She was a longtime member and servant of Highland Seventh Day Adventist Church in Benton Harbor. Annie married Nathaniel Woods, Sr, and from this union came six children. He preceded her in death and she married Maurice Armstrong who also precedes her in death. She is survived by her children, Sally (Michael) Carr, Nathaniel (Juanita) Woods, Jr, Jerry Lee (Cora) Woods, Lydia D. Jones, Fredrick A. (Coralynn) Woods, Sr, and Delores Jones; brother, Joseph Masey; sisters, Hattie Thomas and Grace (Lewis) Prince; 26 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. In addition to Nathaniel and Maurice Annie is preceded I death by her parents, brother, John, and sisters, Ida Mae, Willie Ann, Kate, and Grandson Marion Carr.
