ROBERTSON, RALPH - age 81, of Sevierville, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014, at Sevier County Health Care Center. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sevierville. He served 25 years as an instructor at Cooper Institute and Knoxville Business College. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Ola Robertson; brother and sister-in-law, George and Helen Robertson; sister, Beulah Robertson; and brother-in-law, Jim Rodgers. Survivors: wife of 54 years, Joyce Irwin Robertson; sons, Darius Robertson, Marc Robertson and wife Kim; grandchildren, Colby Robertson, Nathan Robertson, Paige and Adam Smelcer and their son Dryden; sister, Martha Rodgers; brother-in-law, Jack Irwin and wife Betty; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Sevier County Health Care Center for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Sevierville Youth Department, benefitting Nathan Robertson's Eagle Scout Project, 317 Parkway, Sevierville, Tennessee 37862.
