June was born June 9, 1927, in Girard, the daughter of the late George and Jane Johnson Fynes.
June had worked at the Ohio Leather Works in Girard and Packard Electric before becoming a devoted wife and mother to her family. She was an active member of the Open Door Community Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Lowell R. Miles Sr., whom she married Jan. 25, 1947; daughter Karen (Pastor Art) Nicolli, with whom she made her home; sons Lowell “Rusty” (Frannie) Miles Jr. of Canfield and Tom (Char) Miles of Oveido, Fla.; brothers Jack R. Fynes of Niles and Harry Fynes of Girard; five grandchildren; and known as “GiGi” to her seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Cobb, Faye Walters, Doris Wagner and Ruthe Rush; and brothers Tom and Jim Fynes.
June will be laid to rest at Girard City Cemetery.
