OKLAHOMA CITY

Juanita Watkins was born Dec. 25, 1922 and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 10, 2014. Juanita was a precious wife, a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a treasured friend to many.

Juanita was raised on her parents' farm. During her lifetime, she worked at Tinker AFB during WWII, she was a waitress, beautician, exceptional business woman, talented artist, world traveler, enjoyed golfing, volunteered her time and supported numerous organizations, a very generous and loving woman.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband Casper, parents, brothers and sisters, a daughter and a grandson. She will be missed by her four children, Jon Finley and wife Donna, Steve Watkins and wife Becky, Mark Watkins and wife Carol, Glenda Neher as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Juanita was a courageous woman and faced her declining health with extreme honor, integrity and dignity. We will forever remember her strength, courage, orneriness and great love for each of us. Although she is gone from this earth, she will never be forgotten from our hearts. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her, and can't wait to meet her again in Heaven.

We wish to extend a special thanks to all our friends who have supported us in love and prayer with special thanks to her caregivers Marie, Mona, and Christine. We will share our love together for Juanita at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 NW Expressway, OKC. Viewing will be Tuesday from noon to 8:00 pm, with the memorial service on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to Putnam City Baptist Church, 11401 N. Rockwell, OKC OK 73162.
