LOU ELLA MONTGOMERY

Lou Ella Montgomery, 75, of Wichita Falls, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014, in Wichita Falls. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel in Vernon with the Rev. Ron Fox officiating. Interment will be in Goodlett Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
She was born Sept. 23, 1938 in Goodlett, a daughter of the late Cephas Clifton Montgomery and Thelma Dorrise Guthrie Montgomery. She had lived in Texas, California and Washington state. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and entertaining her family at dinners. She was general manager of Denny's and Coco's Restaurant. She was a Catholic.

Survivors include two sons, Verl Justenson of Washington state and Jim Amundson of Wichita Falls; a brother, Kenneth Dale Montgomery of Anna, Ill.; a sister, Dee Lois Montgomery of Collinsville; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Vela Ofanel Warmouth, in 2005; three brothers, Don Alvin Montgomery in 2011, Hank Leon Montgomery in 2009, and Cephas Clifton Montgomery Jr. in 2014.
