William Beck, 85, died at Huntingburg last night.
Mr. Beck was born near Huntingburg on January 24, 1865, the son of George and Catherine Bretz Beck.
He was married in December, 1896, to Almeda Hul, who preceded him in death in 1937.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Chris Hul and Mrs. Arthur Schwartz; brother, George Beck; sister, Mrs. William Melchior; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Schmutzler Funeral Home in Huntingburg; burial will be in Fairmount cemetery.
