63 year old Billie Jean Sanders of Smithville passed away Sunday, Jan. 19th at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd at 2pm from the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Bernard Houk will officiate and burial will follow at DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation with the Sanders family will be Tuesday, 12-9pm & Wednesday, 9am until the service time at 2pm. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Sanders & parents, Ernest Carl & Wilma Lorene Page Vanatta. Granddaughter, Adriana Murphy. Brother & sister, James Cooedge Vanatta & Mary Faye Pedigo. Survivors include 2 daughters, Misty Cassity & Crystal Thompson & 2 sons, Bradley & Blake Sanders all of Smithville. 12 grandchildren, Taven Blair, Keith Buck, Justin & Zachary Murphy, Allison, Haylee, Josh, Jaxsten & Sylar Sanders all of Smithville & Tierra, Briana & Kaylee Parrent of Crossville. 2 sisters- Dean & husband Jimmy Johnson & Elizabeth Bain both of Smithville.
