Went home to dance with Father God, her parents, two brothers, and her four sons in fields of love on July 19, 2011. 1 Peter 5:10 promises "And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.'Born Sharleen L. Wade, June 27, 1951 in California, the eldest of Richard and Annette Wade's eight children. A 1969 graduate of Antelope Valley High School, Lancaster, CA, Sharleen married her high school sweetheart, Richard "Ricky' Dluzak, the following year. The couple lived abroad with the military before returning to California and raising a family near their families. The Dluzaks moved to the D.C. area in 1976 seeking treatment for a rare blood disease afflicting their sons, and have made their home in Gaithersburg, MD, for the past 35 years, where Sharleen was on staff at Church of the Redeemer.Sharleen's exuberant and compassionate presence and leadership have been profoundly missed in her many areas of service at Church of the Redeemer including Women's Ministries, women's and grief counseling, mission trips, and so many more.Sharleen is survived by her husband, Ricky of 41 years; many "heart and God-adopted' children and grandchildren, whom she loved as her very own; her brothers Chris, Tony, and Randy Wade; her sisters and their families, Vicky Wyatt and Lorrie Wade; Ricky's parents, brothers, sisters and their families; and a host of dear friends and colleagues.A tribute to Sharleen's life and legacy was celebrated at Church of the Redeemer, Gaithersburg, MD and at Desert Vineyard, Lancaster, CA. Charitable donations may be made to Church of the Redeemer, Gaithersburg, MD, or Rockville Pregnancy Center Rockville, MD in honor of Sharleen.
