Kathy L. Price Bentley, age 61, of Bristol, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 9, 2014 in the Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born December 24, 1952 in Abingdon, VA and was a daughter of the late Dempsey and Lula Belle (Bailey) Price.

She was a bookkeeper for Bristol Builders/Hassinger Corporation with 37 years of service and was a member of God's House. She was so loved by her grandchildren and family and will dearly missed. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wayne Bentley; a sister, Eula Jean McGhee; and two brothers, Lloyd Price and Clarence Price.

Survivors include: Son: Patrick Wayne Bentley and wife, Ladawn of Scottsdale, Arizona Daughter: Amanda Hope Nelson and husband Kenneth of Bristol, TN Grandchildren: Clayton, Julian, Caydance, Nicole, Nathaniel, Nickolas, Shane and Vivienne. Siblings: Virginia Martin of Bluff City, TN, Robert Price and wife Peggy of Bristol, TN, Emalee Hicks and husband Jimmy of Bristol, TN, Barbara Sandidge of Bristol, TN, Roey Price and wife Margie of Bristol, TN, Danny Price and wife Peggy of Bristol, VA and Lewis Price and wife Peggy of Bristol, VA. Funeral Services will be conducted at 8 PM, Thursday, August 14, 2014 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Sidney Payne officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:45 PM Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service. The committal will be at 11 AM Friday at Rust Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Family and friends may gather at the home of the daughter at 583 Bristol Caverns Highway, Bristol, TN following the graveside service. Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
