William Lombard, 71, Sauk Rapids, died Monday, August 4, 2014, at his residence in Sauk Rapids.

A memorial mass was held Saturday, August 9, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Foreston with the Rev. James Remmerswaal officiating.

Arrangements were by the Foley Funeral Home.

William Albert Lombard was born December 2, 1942, in Oak Park to Wallace and Laura (Scherer) Lombard. He helped his dad on the farm until 1983 when he went to live at the Granite Care Home in Sauk Rapids. He worked for the DAC in Princeton and Milaca for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Laura; grandparents, John and Anna Scherer and Seth and MaryAnn Lombard; brothers, Donald, Richard and James; sisters, Darlene Krueger; infant, Ethel Ann; brothers-in-law, Warren Shore and Charles Scherbing and sister-in-law, Gurnea Lombard.
