Axel Gustafson, 78, a resident of Iron Mountain for more than 50 years, died at 12:45 p.m. Sunday afternoon at home, 509 East A Street.

He came to the United States in 1888 & in the fall, came to Iron Mountain.

He is survived by his widow, 5 children: Mrs. Jennie Prims, Mrs. Esther Bandt, Fred, Warner & Enger.
