Jake Cooper Anderson, 79, a retired farmer of the Cathey's Creek Community, died at Bel Air Nursing Home in Columbia Monday after a long illness.
Burial in Sheboss Cemetery.
He is survived by four daughters: Mrs Mary Blocker of Hampshire, Mrs Maggie Lee McMeen of Duck River, Mrs Jane Murphy of Hohenwald, and Mrs Virginia Skirvin of Nashville; son Lester Anderson of Spring Hill; brother Grady Anderson of Waverly; half-sister Mrs Lola Pruiett of Waverly; and other relatives and friends.
