Although an inscription with his name is on his parents' marker in Section O, William is buried in part of the Morris plot of Section I. This is next to the plot of William's uncle Robert Hesson and aunt Nancy Jane (Monteith).

Cemetery burial register indicates there was a re-interment in 1904, _to_ plot I-081, which conflicts with the 1889 interment date in the cemetery database.
