Born September 11, 1948 in Sewickley, she was the daughter of the late David Paul and Dolores (Morsillo) Wilson.
Paula was a faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mars for over 40 years, where she taught bible study, Sunday school and sang in the choir. A 1966 graduate of Beaver High School, Paula went on to attend the Sewickley Valley School of X-Ray Technology and worked for Doctors On Call as an X-Ray Technician. She was the District Chairman for the Keystone Tall Tree Girl Scout Council in Brookville, and was awarded the Thanks Badge which is the highest honor awarded to an adult Girl Scout leader. Paula volunteered and supported numerous other charitable organizations that greatly helped the community and those in need. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
She is survived by her beloved husband of over 40 years, Harry J. Cole; her two children, Sherry Chupka and her husband, Brian, of Butler and Jennifer Cole of Butler; her brother, Scotty Wilson and his companion, Carol Witt, of Cranberry Township; her uncle, Pat Morsillo and his wife, Helen, of Middleburg, OH; her aunt, Irene Morsillo of Ambridge; her two nieces, Paula Jean and Penny Wilson, and her four grandchildren, Andy, Trevor and Vincent Chupka and Alex Cole.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Wilson; her uncle, James Morsillo, and her aunt, Angie Falduto.
Paula's family will welcome friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 116 E. Main Street, Evans City.
A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at St. John Lutheran Church, 420 Beaver Street, Mars, PA 16046. (Friends Please Meet at Church.)
She will be laid to rest at the Butler County Memorial Park.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made in her honor in support of a charity of the donor's choice.
