Jack and Alma had 2 sons and a daughter. He was a graduate of Columbus West High School in 1950. Jack served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. They raised their family on the westside of Columbus. He had a wonderful mechanical ability with vehicles and was involved with working on restoring them. Jack and Alma traveled to car shows, swap meets and street rod events in their beautiful blue 1939 Chevrolet for years. They were associated with a large group of friends in this hobby. One thing was certain, Jack always had a smile for everyone.
