Jennie Houtz Tew, 95, of Springville died Monday, August 1, 1988 at her home in Springville.
She was born September 30, 1892 in Springville a daughter of Christian W. and Mary Ester W. Houtz. She married William T. Tew Jr., June 18, 1913 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He died in 1954.
She is survived by four sons and three daughhters: Merlene Colarusso, Orem; Dr. Naoma T. Rowan, Salt Lake City; Helen Strland, Mapleton; Thirl W. Tew, Provo; Roy E. Tew, Orem; Dean L. Tew, Mapleton; Dr. Ronald K. Tew, Richfield; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren.
